2006 was a record year for www.newswriter.us. It is not of a great surprise since the site and network as a whole has grown year on year since its inception. What is good for the network is also beneficial to our client base and we have a number of developments planned for 2007.
When we first started developing products and services relating to expired domains; details regarding the topic were few and far between. Now in 2007 barely a day goes by without expired domains being mentioned on various webmaster forums. Huge industries surround every marketplace for expired domains and grow exponentially as they are utilised by more and more webmasters. Large registrars run expired domains auctions and reap the rewards at almost zero cost to them.
Our own business has extended its services and knowledge by reselling high profile expired domains and running profitable expired domain business packages for private clients some of which have also been sold on eBay. The growth in our sector shows no signs of slowing down and with thousands of domains expiring every day resources are many.
In addition to our expired domain traffic, our business offers numerous options and projects to private clients. Most of these clients originate from our traffic business and after placing large orders have conducted business with our company outside of our network of sites. Our company was founded on website promotion and progressive internet marketing campaigns and SEO for a number of private clients. During 2007 we intend on moving services we provide for private clientele into the public domain. Our main planned developments for 2007 include the following:

Expand casino traffic capacity - 2006 was a record year for www.newswriter.us and our network as a whole. Newswriter.us in particular recorded a 28% increase in casino traffic orders as webmasters continue to take advantage of great offers from affiliate sites. Our aim for 2007 is to increase our casino traffic capacity creating great traffic flow for all demographics.
Expand adult traffic capacity - Once again Newswriter.us recorded a whopping 31% increase in adult traffic orders during 2006. The main increase required TGP based traffic but we also saw a large number of innovative sites with highly specific niches. As one of the leading adult traffic providers online we continue to expand our capacity and improve the traffic flow for all demographics. In December 2006 alone we purchased over 200 adult domains to add to our portfolio.
Increase possible onsite order sizes - After high demand we increased the maximum order size on www.newswriter.us to 50,000 visitors for standard traffic campaigns. The take up on the new offer was higher than expected. More people choose the 50,000 option than the 25,000 option. We intend to make available a 100,000 campaign option both for standard traffic campaigns and adult/casino campaigns over the coming months. Also the private client campaign threshold will be lowered from 1 million to 500,000 redirects.
Add campaign availability for domains with pop-ups - As a company it is against our terms and conditions to run a campaign for a url with pop-ups. In the past this has been for a number of reasons. Most web surfers will agree that pop-ups are an annoyance they can well do without. In addition to this issue urls with pop-ups conflicted with our traffic redirection software and also without correct control led to webmasters being able to promote an infinite number of urls using just one campaign. Our policies against urls with pops have served us well and good since establishing our expired domain traffic program. However, during 2006 it became more evident that a larger number of webmasters were using pop-ups or inadvertently had pop-ups they could not control through their affiliate account. Over the past 3 months we have been modifying our traffic redirection software to attempt to provide the possibility for traffic campaigns with urls containing pop-ups. The development of this new addition is nearly complete and will be made available onsite I the coming months. Last year we turned away a number of clients due to this limitation and refunded a further $10,000+ in orders from clients who did not realise these limitations until they had placed their order.
Add campaign availability for pop-under traffic - During the last months of 2006 we began working with an American based company to develop a system to deliver pop under traffic which remained targeted and with good availability. Our service has always been based on expired domain traffic and we have always been opposed to popup traffic which produces poor conversions and is intrusive to web surfers. We are close to developing a product, which will carry the same benefits as our expired domain traffic but utilising a whole different form of internet advertising. Our pop under options are minimally intrusive to web surfers and with correct targeting right down to specific keywords provides the highest quality in targeted traffic.
Add website promotion options and customisable SEO projects - Our company was founded based on website promotion and SEO both on our own sites and on those of private clientele. Over the years we have worked on a vast array of sites covering almost every niche category on the internet and have a continued success rate provided by a team of successful programmers and SEOs. Our website promotion and SEO services have almost exclusively been reserved for private clientele. The only onsite representation of our capabilities was in the development of the traffic booster, which was implemented some time ago. The traffic booster currently has an uptake of 47% raised from 39% after my article detailing the program. During the course of 2007 we will be extending our website promotion and SEO services offered online. We will first offer basic set programs and depending on take up progress to customisable campaigns and projects with individually assigned SEOs and programmers. We already share a number of SEO tips and tricks in our articles and blog, which we look to develop during 2007.
Newswriter.us and its network continue to grow into 2007. Above is a taster of what is in store for our regular visitors and clients. Some of the developments are based on new technology.
